A fantastic utility style 1940s coat perfect for autumn and winter weather. Packed with vintage features and a limited edition made here in our UK factory.

This coat design was influenced by a number of styles from the late 1930s to early 40s. From photos to original vintage items - we wanted to produce a practicaland stylish coat that would also meet the demands of modern life.

Where do we start to explain the many fabulous features on this amazing coat?

Strong padded shoulders and a high funnel neckline with single button and loop fastening beautifully frames the wearer and creates that iconic 1940s silhouette. Bodice has vent features over bustline which is also used in the back - this helps with movement and comfort.

There is a slight wrap on the coat - and there are press stud fastenings as closings. Nip in at the waist for a really flattering look with the tie belt.

We really appreciate the two good sized patch pockets on the front of the coat - great for a variety of items and supremely practical!

Fabric is an Italian wool blend (details below) in a gorgeous chevron weave - main colours are deep brown and fawny. This is mid/heavy weight wool blend.
