My first ever HOF purchase and I am delighted. I’m a UK size 18 on top and a UK size 12 on the bottom so my proportions get weird and top heavy looking easily! This dress balances my lower half beautifully. The skirt honestly is a little large on me but it hangs so well and really looks so beautiful due to the weight of the fabric there. I am 174 cm tall and the length hits at a flattering point below my knee. I doubt I could have got a better result from having it made for me, which is what I usually do, and have many years experience in well fitted clothes. The sewing is excellent, and the fabric looks incredibly original. The details of sleeves, gathers and necklines, just to name a few, are balanced and considered. The neckline is deep but not revealing as it has been designed to sit close together and not gape. It arrived beautifully presented and in very quick time. I could not have had a nicer shopping experience, thank you!
Beautiful feminine fluid dress, that drapes beautifully on a curvy body, lenghtening the silhouette. The clivage is not too deep. It feels like I could have probably sized down, but the extra room at the waist doesn't actually show. Both fabrics are of a nice quality and the colors are pretty.
I already have this dress but in the previous iteration ( quite old now) before the they changed it. I love that dress but this dress takes it to a new level. The cut & design , while subtlety differ elevates the fit & how it looks. Perfect . Thank you
Honestly, at first I was reluctant to spend so much on a dress, but boy am I SOOO glad I did. It was worth every single penny. It's so beautifully made. I know it will stand the test of time. I have worn it twice so far and have gotten so many compliments on it. I wish it came in more colors (like solid black or red) because I would immediately buy both.
This is a lovely blouse and very wearable. It looks great with the 1930s Swirl Skirt, but you can also wear it with modern, or vintage style trousers and skirts. It looks stylish, but effortless. I'm very happy with it.
This has to be one of my new favorite pieces to wear with my high waisted pants! It was worth every penny despite the stupid tariffs we have to pay now due to the evil regime of Mango Mussolini, but House of Foxy has the best pieces!
