Brimming with beautiful vintage details, the 1930s Ellen blouse is the newest addition to The House of Foxy hall of fame. Sure to become another eternal favourite; this little stunner is a faithful reproduction of an original 1930s blouse we have simply fallen in love with.
We have been wanting to produce an alternative to our top selling 1940s Sweetheart blouse with enough points of difference to give our Foxies a new look whilst keeping that beloved 1930s/40s silhouette. After much pondering, we found a fabulous 1930s original that inspired the features of this new blouse.
The 1930s had a softer look and this is reflected in the slightly rounded collar and lack of shoulder pad. However, gathers into the shoulder yoke and into the back produce that coveted blouson look when tucked in or belted.
Long bishops sleeves with soft gathers into the sleeve head and cuff. Vintage reproduction buttons really make this blouse special and look equally elegant buttoned to the top or worn demurely open.
Extra touches include the top stitching along button stand and collar. You are going to treasure this super femme and versatile blouse.
