1930s Marlene Trousers - pinstripe twill
The iconic Marlene trousers are back by popular demand in four new colour-ways - part of our androgynous 1930s tailoring collection.
Inspired by Marlene Dietrich's iconic and daring masculine look in the 1930s, these are based on peg trousers from our brother brand Cousin Jack and have been adapted for the feminine figure. These are super special trousers we are really proud of - we believe you wont find a fit quite like these anywhere else. We are thrilled with the 'super slick tailored' result and we are sure you will be too!
Style has a tailored high waist which really cinches the waist due to the internal waistband and structure. Can feel like a super comfy corset! Has integrated (almost invisible) belt feed through loops which you can use any slim belt with - or leave unbelted. Two side pockets and deep front pleats on a lovely wide leg with crease that falls into a bottom turn up.
Part lined for comfort and has a front zip fastening with internal button. We love the V feature in the centre back - a nod to vintage mens trousers of the period.
Pair with spear collar shirt for a super masculine look or soften with knitwear or a feminine blouse like our bonnie.
The wide leg is approx 21 inches circumference. Deep pleat on the front runs into a strong and slimming crease.
Produced in a non stretch poly/viscose twill.
