Another winning combination of top quality craftmanship combined with a plethora of 1930s features and topped of with a vintage style fabric that behaves as it should. Again - we have not held back on detail with this dress.
This is a most flattering cut and is influenced by the the late 1930s dress styles worn from 1938 through into the wartime period. This dress has been designed to be as faithful as possible to these styles.
Dress has a high back neckline which hugs the back of the neck but alllows the deep plunging cross over neckline to remain demure and not too revealing. Bodice of dress is based on an original vintage 1930s nightwear garment and as a result has authentic detailed gathers into the shoulder and top stitched. The cute cap sleeves hug the shoulder and create an elegant silhouette. Gathers under bust creates a flattering line into a slimming fit around the waist through the fitted waistband. With a sweeping 7-gore skirt to float you through any tea dance.

The fabrics is a mid weight 100% rayon (viscose) and as such gathers beautifully into yokes and under bust - is similar to the fabrics worn at this time. This dress is made in ebony black. Lining is a woven viscose.
