1930s Amelia Blouse - Black Pinstripe

A refined nod to 1930s masculine dressing, 'Amelia' is our Autumn exclusive favourite from autumn, reimagined for winter in two new prints for true 1930s androgyny lovers. This lightweight piece wears beautifully as a shirt, blouse, or jacket. Crafted in black fine pinstripe with natural wood buttons, it feels quietly bold and endlessly wearable.

Inspired by images of an original and fashion drawings from the late 1930s - this style will be your most treasured new separate style!

Called Amelia in homage to our favourite historical aviator - this style creates a classic late 1930s silhouette with its cinched waist and strong shoulders. Simple open collar neckline and easy straight sleeves, this style is unfussy and versatile. 

The fitted waist band together with the blouson style of the bodice (created by gathers) gives the wearer a nipped in waist. Back yoke has bodice gathers and lastly - we've added shoulder pads to further enhance the silhouette.

Fabric is a specially produced in a soft and drapey viscose - giving a comfortable feel. Feels and looks very vintage - is lightweight and perfect for layering. The Amelia blouse goes great with all our natural and high waisted styles.
