1930s Amelia Blouse in Oakline Stripe
We welcome new blouse 'Amelia' to our 1930s/40s collection. This simple and elegant blouse is sure to be a hot new favourite. Inspired by images of an original and fashion drawings from the late 1930s - this style will be your most treasured new autumn separate.
Called Amelia in homage to our favourite historical aviator - this style creates a classic late 1930s silhouette with its cinched waist and strong shoulders. Simple open collar neckline and easy straight sleeves, this style is unfussy and versatile.
The fitted waist band together with the blouson style of the bodice (created by gathers) gives the wearer a nipped in waist. Back yoke has bodice gathers and lastly - weve added shoulder pads to further enhance the silhouette.
Fabric is a specially produced lightweight, beautiful quality viscose/polyamide blend and has a natural slightly crushed feel and sheen. Feels and looks very vintage - is lightweight and perfect for layering. The Amelia blouse goes great with all our natural and high waisted styles.
