Inspired by the starlet fashions of the late 1950s/early 60s - the Mansfield dress is a timeless and elegant dress yet very wearable, warm and comfy. Perfect for office chic or add some bling for an evening do!
The dress features a wide 'wrap style' neckline designed to be worn on the edge of the shoulder and is the neckline style favoured by Liz Taylor and Jayne Mansfield. We have added some handy bra anchors to fix the neckline in place.
Ruching at shoulder and down bodice creates a flattering and sexy style. Ruching continues into skirt to flatter and conceal any tummy flaws. Skirt is the classic 50s length on majority of women - reaching below the knee (26 inches from waist).
Other important features include: sleeves reaching below elbow and a back zip. Fabric is a stretchy mid weight jersey 'ponti roma' - soft and comfy
