Our head-turning 1970s Disco Dress takes on a completely different personality in this very special one-off sample. Made in a soft, romantic Blush crepe, she's a gentler alternative to the bold, high-shine colours we usually associate with our disco collection - but every bit as fabulous.
Only one was made. A little experiment from Foxy HQ that turned out to be a total beauty, this is a genuinely unique chance to own our dramatic 1970s silhouette in a colourway that won't be repeated.
Inspired by the slinky glamour of the mid-to-late 1970s, the dress features a sweetheart-style neckline with soft gathers sweeping across the bust and meeting at the statement O-ring centre front. The result is wonderfully flattering, feminine and unmistakably seventies.
Inside the bust you'll find additional support in the form of removable moulded cups. While this isn't a feature typically found in original 1970s dresses, we added it to give a little extra security and confidence, particularly for fuller busts.
From there, the dress gently skims the waist and hips before the four-panel skirt opens into beautiful fullness towards the hem. Long sleeves balance the plunging neckline and give the whole silhouette an elegant, languid feel.
In Blush, the drama becomes wonderfully romantic - think less flashing dancefloor, more softly lit cocktail bar. A gorgeous choice for parties, weddings, evenings and occasions when you want your seventies glamour with a softer edge.
