Inspired by Dior's revolutionary āNew Lookā of 1947, this supremely elegant jacket celebrates the dramatic silhouette that came to define 1950s fashion: strong shoulders, a tiny-looking waist and beautifully emphasised hips.
Our Racing Green has been a particularly striking interpretation. Deep, rich and wonderfully sophisticated, it's a timeless heritage green that works beautifully with the sculpted tailoring of this jacket. The magic is all in the cut. Subtle shoulder pads create a strong, elegant shoulder line before the jacket draws sharply into the waist and sweeps back out into a structured peplum, creating that coveted wasp-waisted New Look silhouette.
A deep plunging neckline rises slightly at the back to hug the neck, while seven fabric-covered buttons run neatly down the centre front. Long sleeves and a fully lined interior complete this beautifully tailored piece.
