1930s Pleated Shorts - Black
These splendid pleated shorts are adapted from an original pattern and they are just fabulous!
Shorts are pleated throughout (3 on each side - including the centre front gusset pleat) and are the forerunner design favoured for girls' school gym shorts - nostalgic and sweet, these shorts are a perfect addition to any 30s and 40s vintage fan wardrobe and great for summer! We love them with navy and ivory.
These fit on the natural waist and have a single shell look button fastening with a short zip.

These are a mid weight fabric, warm but breatheable. Rayon/poly mix with a little bit of spandex for stretch, hand wash recommended.
These have been painstakingly researched and are adapted from an original 1930s pattern with further inspiration taken from an original pair of ladies tennis shorts.
