A rare Foxy treasure and one of our most captivating 1930s silhouettes, Joanie is now down to her final piece in this print. Once this one finds its home, this particular Joanie is gone for good.
Named in homage to Hollywood star and 1930s style icon Joan Crawford, Joanie takes her inspiration from an original vintage garment, recreating that wonderfully fluid, feminine glamour that defined the decade.
The softly draped cowl neckline, romantic bishop sleeves and sweeping bias-cut construction allow the dress to skim and follow the figure rather than feeling structured or restrictive. Cleverly cut from several bias panels, she has that unmistakable slinky 1930s movement - elegant by day and wonderfully glamorous come evening.
At the waist sits a coordinating belt finished with our cream Art Deco clasp, painstakingly recreated from an original vintage piece and one of those little details that makes Joanie feel particularly special.
There is no zip; true to her bias-cut construction, Joanie simply slips over the head.
