1930s Jitterbug Dress - Dia Deco Emerald
Jitterbug dances back into our Foxy world, one of our dreamiest day dresses - inspired by the stunning styles of the 1930s. This lovely piece, part of our Autumn collection, showcases a delightful contrast between a fresh new 'Dia Deco' emerald base print and the richness of racing green, resulting in a darling look that effortlessly transcends from city chic to country charm.

1930s style is very much about 'detail' - shirring, pleats, gathers, bows and frills but put together elegantly and in ways to make the most of the feminine figure. The gorgeous plunging neckline hugs high into the back neck is created with pleats into the shoulder and feeds into rows of shirring below the bust. The pleats create plenty of room for differing bust sizes and hence protect one modesty. You will love the bow which has a contrast lining - easy to remove too if you prefer.
We know how much sleeves are appreciated - so we put much effort into creating a flattering sleeve with plenty of vintage features. Sleeves reach just below elbow - pleated into the sleeve head and finished into the cuff with a vertical row of delicate gathers. Sleeve has plenty of room for varied arm widths.
Lastly, the bottom is our stretch heavy crepe - flattering in steel blue and has a lovely amount of swing at the hem but skims the waist and hip.
