We are delighted with this gorgeous new velvet party dress design - which is based on the gorgeous style lines of the late 1930s and has some fantastic and authentic features.
Stunning deep blend of dusky rose purple, with a luxurious velvet texture that beautifully reflects light in varying environments, creating an enchanting interplay of colours that feels as opulent as it looks.
Dress has a plunge neckline created by tucks and gathers of fabric high into the flattering high back neck. This emphasises the bust-line and gathers into authentic style shirring underneath. Skirt skims the body to create a flattering a-line skirt - just enough swing.
Sleeves finish just above the elbow and are very authentic in style. Tucks into the shoulder and has pretty vertical gathers towards the bottom of the sleeve.
Side Zip - unlined.

i just adore 1930s style and i fell in love with this dress the moment i laid my eyes on it... it feels high quality, what a breath of fresh air compared to all the fast fashion in many stores today... and it fits beautifully! it is a little tight around the bust so i had to be careful taking it on and off but i knew it likely would be as i am a big chested girl... however once it's on it feels very comfortable, not too tight, and not too loose! and the rest of me is quite small so it fit the rest of my body perfectly with no problems!!! i bought this to wear to a wedding so i would be able to keep my vintage style while also dressed appropriately, toning it down, and not be too much... and this just felt perfect, the bride loves it too! i can see myself rewearing this over and over, i have a feeling this will become a staple in my wardrobe. i don't have a lot of extra money to spend so this took some saving to afford but it was certainly worth it for a long time piece in my closet. i LOVE this dress.

My first Foxy dress but certainly not the last! Gorgeous dress that can be easily worn as a 40s dress. Lovely rich colour and drapes beautifully..I feel really special in this!
The fabric has patches/irregularities on areas like a huge one on the tummy. Looks ridiculous because of the placement. The fabric also feels thin and cheap. Very disappointed.

The dress is simply perfect. The quality of the fabric is wonderful, the design extremly flattering. It creates a slim, nice shape. Pure elegance, easy to wear, effortless to style. So happy I ordered from house of foxy again though with Brexit the process to get it out of customs in Germany is a little bit annoying and adds extra expense – but this is well worth it if the quality is so steady, amazing and reliable as with House of Foxy.
Wow! When I opened the box & saw the colour I was blown away! It is sumptuous & the dusky hue changes as you move. It is lovely to touch it & beautifully made. I'm so glad I ordered it. Highly recommend.
Bought this as a Christmas present to myself to wear Christmas Day. Shaping is beautiful and so flattering, the dark, dark brown colour takes the edge off it just being a flat black tone.
