This stunning little blouse is a brand new design we have brought in as part of our new blouse styles upgrade. More details, more authentic - but still 'everyday' wearable.

We simply love the details on this wee beauty - an authentic design based on an original. This recreates the iconic late 1930s look with its darted nipped in waist and fitted shoulders but with the blouson volume into the bust.

This 30s inspired blouse is packed with original vintage detail and can be paired with 30s & 40s separates alike. It gives a really 30s look due to its high neckline with small collar, curved yoke and nipped in waist. Sleeves have a small sleeve roll to enhance the shoulder.

Waistline is darted throughout to create the iconic blouson looks of the time.

Produced in our signature vintage reproduction rayon crepe in Antique Cream - perfect for spring and to pair with a variety of skirts and trousers. Please note that colours vary on different screens and we may not always be able to accurately represent it.

Key 30s features include:-
- high neckline 'button up to the top' with small 30s inspired collar
- short sleeves
- waist darts
- covered buttons
- curved front and back yoke with gathers on back/tucks on front

This is one of my summer staples

These blouses are literally my summer uniform! I have already bought it in blush, celadon (sadly discontinued), Mustard yellow (also discontinued), antique and black (and was gifted the blue and the peach one by friends) and it fits lovely on me. Just be aware, after many years using them and wearing them I can confidently say that this fabric WILL shrink (noticeably) after the first 1 to 4 washes. I got a UK10 (bust is 93-94cm, waist is 68cm), and I find that after washing they fit just right around the bust (like a tight fit, without being "truly" super tight, no buttons popping nor any weird gaps), fir very comfortably on the waist (no tightness there, but the silhouette is still there, and the arms in my case still fit also right (same feelingas in the bust, the fabric sits close to the skin, but I can still move my arms around without feeling them squeezed in nor similar). The fabric is amazing, super breathable and cool for the summer, nor seethrough under normal conditions ( slightly if you wear dark underwear) and This one pairs really well with their 30's shorts (Which I also ADORE). Th only thing that kinda bugs me a little is the length, it is just slighly too short for me (and I am a standard-lengthed torso woman), as often, even with my VERY high waisted trousers the blouse pops out and tucking it in would be easier if the length were to be extended just 1-1,5cm (also a great help for longer torsos). If you have a long torso, fuller arms or are more on the bustier side AND in between sizes, I would advise to go for the size up for a more comfortable fit after washes and years of use (and do not worry because due to the pattern and the construction of the garment, the very lovely 1930 shape is in no way lost and it is still very much there- they did a great job designing these!) I cannot wait to see this one made in even more colours! (please please make it in a dark red or aubergine!)

Another favorite blouse

My other favorite blouse style from the House of Foxy! I also have this one in several colors. The shape os great and it looks so good under a waistcoat or a sweater.

Love this blouse!

It's so flattering and I really love the sleeves. I prefer to use the steamer to 'iron' it. The 'Antique' colour is also fantastic on me as I don't suit white so much.
