The Vintage Fashion Extravaganza!
Saturday 3rd October 2026 · 10am to 3pm · Halifax · Free Entry
Something rather fabulous is coming to Halifax, West Yorkshire this October…
The House of Foxy is delighted to be joining forces with Bankfield Museum for a day dedicated to the thing we love most: vintage fashion, fashion history, and the wonderful vintage-loving community that keeps it alive.
Plans are still taking shape behind the scenes, so consider this your save the date! We’ll be updating this page as more details are confirmed.
Following the success of last year’s 1940s fashion show...

Bankfield invited us back to go bigger and better!
The day will run from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 3rd October, with plenty to see, shop and enjoy throughout Bankfield Museum.
Two Vintage Fashion Shows
The House of Foxy will be taking to the catwalk with two fashion shows celebrating 50 years of vintage style. Expect changing silhouettes, fabulous details and plenty of fashion history along the way. Here we explore the evolution of fashion from 1926 to 1976 in daywear and eveningwear.
Vintage Shopping
For treasure seekers and fashionistas! The House of Foxy will be there (with the infamous sale rail) alongside local vintage clothing traders and vintage inspired designer/makers selling their wares. With vintage inspired treasures and plenty to browse between shows.
Explore Bankfield Museum
Make a day of it and explore the museum itself, including its current Fashion Extremes! exhibition, the perfect accompaniment to a day devoted to extraordinary clothes.
Dress Up & Join In
And yes, this is absolutely an excuse to dress up. Come in your favourite era, bring your vintage loving friends, take photographs and meet fellow fashion enthusiasts. We would love to see the museum positively buzzing with fabulous outfits.
Best of all? It’s FREE!
There is no admission charge for the Vintage Fashion Extravaganza, making it a lovely opportunity to discover vintage fashion, local history and the museum for yourself.
As a Yorkshire brand, we’re incredibly excited to be creating something right here on our doorstep.

Vintage fashion is so much more than beautiful clothes. It’s social history, craftsmanship, personal expression and, perhaps most importantly, a brilliant way of bringing people together.
We want the Vintage Fashion Extravaganza to do exactly that: bring vintage enthusiasts, fashion folk, local makers, traders and curious newcomers together for a day of dressing up, discovering something new and celebrating 50 fabulous years of fashion.
Whether you’re a seasoned vintage wearer, fascinated by fashion history, or simply fancy a rather glamorous Saturday out, you’re invited!
