This is a stunning little suit set for early 60s fans and is the epitome of early 60s fashions. A must for ladies who love grown-up glamour - this set will take you from luncheon to evening dinner...just throw on a pair of heels, some 3 string pearls and you're set!
The dress is typical of the early 1960s, having a high 'jewel' neckline which is a simple round style. Waistline is nipped in and emphasised with the ruched cummerband - another key early 60s feature which really accentuates an hourglass shape by nipping in under the bust. The elegant darts at the top of skirt create a slight tulip shape again creating the hourglass figure.
The dress is sleeveless and is paired with a short waisted jacket - a style taken from an original pattern from the period and adapted. Jacket features a wide collar with notch detail and one button fastening. Bracelet length sleeves and lined with sumptuous viscose crepe.
