We are over the moon with this late 1920s day dress we added to the 'Secret Garden' collection in a last minute creative surge! As we aim to introduce earlier styles to our range, we felt the Magnolia bliss print was a perfect opportunity to bring you a very wearable and flattering 1920s day dress.

This dress bridges two distinct periods of design - the distinctive flapper style drop waist of the 20s but paired with the pin-tuck detailing at the waist, capelet over the shoulders and flowing bias skirt of the early 30s.

After thoroughly researching the late 1920s and early 30s, we designed a dress with the classic limited shaped bodice with french dart into the bust, drop waist to fit on hip and skirt has fullness to flatter. The gorgeous capelet was influenced by an original image, extends around the shoulders from the neckline and creates the illusion of sleeves.

To highlight the style features, we have included contrast binding at the drop waist, neckline and on the hem of the capelet.

Also includes a matching long scarf!
