1940s Peggy Dress - Berry

A stunning and versatile new 1940s inspired dress packed with vintage features.

This new 40s style dress combines some stunning iconic 1940s features with modern fabrics and production techniques - making it a fabulous dress for everyday wear yet can be dressed up for an elegant evening look.

Dress has a mandarin style neckline with button fastening at the neck to give a keyhole below and followed by a further 7 covered buttons below. We love the vintage detailing on the bodice - gathers above and below the bust to give great definition.

The waist panel is adorned with a faux belt with covered buckle and the drop waist style fits smoothly around the upper hip. Skirt has paralell simple gathers fom the drop waist to give the skirt some swing without bulk. Sleeves are extra special - three darts in the head with a tuck into the hem. 

There are gathers in the back of bodice to give that flattering blouson look and is super comfy. Dress gas a side zip.

The fabric is a stretch crepe in a elegant berry/wine colour. The touch of spandex means it will stretch a little to accommodate waist variances.
