30s Cora Bias Cut Dress in Forest Petunia
The Cora dress is heavily influenced by early 1930s design features including bias cut panels, flounce neckline, contrast bow and sleeve detailing.
Dress has flattering V neckline with pleat details at the centre bust-line which are reflected in the sleeve detail. The flounce/frill edged in contrast thread flows the neckline and finishes with a contrast drop bow at the centre front.
Sleeves finish just above the elbow and have ruching details and also pleats on the sleeve head. Bias skirt panels have extra clever darts whixh means that this dress has no fastenings and will drape beautifully around the waist and hip. A super flattering fit for all shapes and screams early '30s.
No zip - due to bias cut - pull over head. Please note, dress is not lined so some may like to wear a vintage style slip underneath.
Key 1930s features include:-
- v neckline - with centre bust pleats
- frill around full neckline
- contrast bow
- sleeves with gather detail
- bias skirt
- low calf length - approx 75 cms from natural waist (NB: this will change depending on your own shape due to the bias nature of the garment)
Dry clean or cold hand wash - MUST dry flat due to bias panels.
Fabric: 100% viscose crepe.
