Inspired by the starlet fashions of the late 1950s/early 60s - the Mansfield dress is a timeless and elegant dress yet very wearable, warm and comfy. Perfect for office chic or add some bling for an evening do!
The dress features a wide 'wrap style' neckline designed to be worn on the edge of the shoulder and is the neckline style favoured by Liz Taylor and Jayne Mansfield. We have added some handy bra anchors to fix the neckline in place.
Ruching at shoulder and down bodice creates a flattering and sexy style. Ruching continues into skirt to flatter and conceal any tummy flaws. Skirt is the classic 50s length on majority of women - reaching below the knee (26 inches from waist).
Other important features include: sleeves reaching below elbow and a back zip. Fabric is a stretchy mid weight jersey 'ponti roma' - soft and comfy

This dress is made of stretchy jersey fabric. So if you are between sizes, then probably best to choose the smaller size. Neckline style means that the dress can accomodate most bust sizes, will flatter smaller busts and expand for larger.
Shape advice: Style suits hourglasses, inverted triangles and pillars most but will flatter all shapes.

My husband nearly fell off his chair when he first saw me in this! Very gratifying. The dress is fabulous - made me feel like a million dollars. Iām a slim but busty size 12/14 and the fit of the 14 was great.
I bought the red in a size 8, going for sizing down (normally I am a slim size 8 to 10). Sorry to differ from the rave reviews, but I couldn't wear it: Too bodycon, I felt really self conscious in the tight stretch fit, it would be really unflattering after eating (on a full tummy) and the fabric is much brighter red than it appeared on my screen. For me, perhaps the black in a size up would be better, I would prefer a softer drape to the wrap, less of a siren colour. My first order from here, so will swap for a different dress fit.
