Inspired by Katherine Hepburn's iconic trouser suit look - these fabulous trousers are an authentic rework of an original 1940s trouser pattern adapted for the modern figure and in modern fabric.
Packed with features, this wide leg style has a turn-up, a high waist band, side zip and fastens with a single shell-look button. The wide leg is approx 22 inches circumference. Deep pleats on the front run into a strong and slimming crease. Style also has 2 darts on the back. Topped off with contrast top stitching - this is a fantasic and authentic style.

These trousers fit on the natural waist but do have a nice wide waist band which can fit slightly high on some people. The fabric has some stretch but this is more a comfort stretch.
This is definitely a style that will create shape but will require correct underwear ;-)

I LOVE these trousers. They create the most gorgeous, elongated line that is sophisticated and flattering, while still emphasising my waist and showing just the right amount of my curves. I wear them to work meetings with silk blouses and on casual days with a sweater or top. I am 174 cm tall and they come down to the perfect length when I'm wearing low-heeled boots - they are just slightly too long when wearing flats, particularly when it's when wet outside. I might have them hemmed just a centimeter or two shorter, but it's not so necessary that I did it right away. I bought a second colour immediately after buying these! Thinking about a third now...
Black trousers are my favourites as they go with anything and are suitable for every occasion, and these ones are super flattering and comfortable, that I already have two pairs of these trousers (black and burgundy) and plan to get more when they become available.
