I like the jacket very much. It is hard to find a nice authentic 40ies jacket made of high quality fabric but here it is. The colour is a mix of dark grey, green, khaki - it just goes with everything! Love it. Keep in mind it is really snug in waist (rest is roomy).
I love my jacket.
It is the oldschool kind of wool that is a bit prickly and keeps you snug and warm even if the wind is comming in from the sea and is rather cold. Perfect when you want to get out of your big winter jacket/coat but it is still to cold to go without a jacket.
The stock photo of the is a bit misleading colorwise as the other review states. Mine is not the green gray color pictured, but the treads in the fabric have both fibres of bottle green and dark brown. It is a brownish and green kind of color.
I am a bit bigger than size 18, so I can only button it in the waist on a good day, not every day. But it fits nicely in the front, so I’m happy.
I hope to be back for another jacket at some point. I would love a navy one.
