You...dazzling, demure and divine in our 1930s 'Vionnet' bias cut inspired evening gown. This is simply an incredible and sensual dress designed to turn heads.
Madeleine Vionnet was one of Europe's greatest couturiers - known for her bias-cut styles draped expertly over the body. Whilst the majority of her beautiful dresses were individually made for the wearer, we've created this dress to emulate the iconic bias cut styles she pioneered in the 1930s.
This dress has many 1930s design trademarks and is made in authentic oyster/champagne colour rayon fabric - having beautiful drape and sheen.
1930s Key Features Include:-
- slight cowl at top of neckline create a very flattering and comfortable shape
- upper slashed sleeves to elbow
- slashed back (down to just above bra strap)
- adjustable belt with diamente clasp
- floor length bias cut skirt hugs curves

This dress is very free fitting - as the style drapes around the body. Skirt is bias so will mould around the hip and the bust area is very free. Best choose on waist size.

An absolutely beautiful dress. I wore this for my early 40's inspired wedding and felt wonderful. The fabric is really luxurious and falls beautifully. I left my order pretty late and the team at 20th Century Foxy were incredibly helpful and reassuring when I called.
