Inspired by an early 1960s photograph of screen beauty Bridget Bardot, this dress oozes elegance and sex appeal just like its namesake.
This dress will hug your curves but its demure high lace neckline and long sleeves make it a demure choice.
We have used a beautiful deep green stretch lace for this dress and have used the scalloped edges to finish the neckline, the V at the back and the end of the sleeves. The lace also has a beautiful sheen and finishes under the bust. The upper half of the bodice is boned for support.
The deep waist panel gives the wearer the hourglass silhouette that was so aspired to in the 50s and early 60s.

This dress is made of very stretchy fabric. So if you are between sizes, then probably best to choose the smaller size. However, if you have a larger bust, this style may not fit as you wish over the bust area since it is strapless with lace overlay.
Style suits hourglasses, inverted triangles and pillars most but will flatter all shapes.

A beautiful dress that fits well, although had to order a size larger than usual dress size. Bought in dark emerald and the colour is lovely as per the website picture. My only complaint is that for such a stunning and quite expensive dress, it does not have a lined skirt. A lining would allow the skirt to hang better; without a lining, every time you stand up you have to wriggle the skirt down to straighten it. I have had to purchase a waist slip to wear with it which in itself, is not an easy thing to purchase these days. However, will look to buy it again in another colour. Thanks Foxy.
