We are proud to announce the arrival of our new early 60s inspired evening/cocktail dress - named in homage to the fabulous oscar winning 1960 film 'La Dolce Vita' or 'The Sweet Life'.
The dress is inspired by an original early 60s evening dress from the designers collection - when glamour really was at its height. The dress features a wide fitting cross over neckline, ruched cummerbund and draped wrap sarong skirt. It's super sexy and stylish but sophisticated and elegant, too. This dress has just got it all!
Key Features include:-
- wide wrap neckline with bra anchors for fit
- cap sleeves with godet insert* for extra movement
- ruched cummerbund
- back zip
- drape sarong skirt
*We haven't held back in design features on this one, nor construction techniques - this dress is almost couture standard in its finish.
Fabric: Cotton Sateen 97% cotton 3% elastene
Washing Instructions: dry clean recommended
Length from natural waist: 28 inches approx
This dress fairly easy to fit. The bust area is generous and can accommodate most sizes and the sarong style skirt means that there is plenty of adjustment. As this style has a waist band that is very fitted, we strongly suggest that you select your size through the waist measurements.
