I love this dress! I had been eyeing it up since when it came out and finally picked it up - it's exceeded my expectations. The fabric is heavier than it looks in the photos, very comfortable with a beautiful drape. The pattern is also a little more elaborate than what can be seen in the photos. It's slightly tailored and very flattering. I also love the vintage style buttons.
I'm pear shaped and recently up to a size 16, but I imagine when I lose weight it will still look nice thanks to the gathered top and subtle tailoring.
So happy to see HoF extending their sizing in more styles. I have been after more authentic 40s style dresses for some time. I am normally a 20 in HoF but sized up to a 22 to accommodate my bust. This means there is some room in the waist but otherwise fit is perfect. Looking forward to more extended sizing in the future.
