Cools,

Another authentic reproduction - this time in the form of a fantastic crop sweater with fairisle style stitch.

This wool blend sweater is sure to help you beat the chilly weather with extra finesse! This is a great style that all forties fashionistas will love. Wear with high or natural waisted trousers or skirts for a great and authentic 1940s look.

Our 'cool' colourway has a warm oatmeall base with brown and red stitch. Goes great with red, brown and rust.

We have replicated the classic square neck so often found in early 40s knitwear styles and patterns and combined with crop style and deep rib hem.

Key features:-

- fairisle pattern back and front
- square neckline
- long sleeves

The perfect partner for pleated pants and swing pants - or our 40s whirlaway skirt.

*Please note - this top has been designed to be worn with waisted skirts/trousers/jeans and hence is not as long in the body as high street tops.

On the small side. I'm a size 12 and bought a Medium and it's TIGHT. Short both in body length and sleeves, but I suppose it is the style. I will keep it in hopes that it will stretch over time as when I was trying it on, the tag snapped and fall off. Can't return now or otherwise would have gone for a bigger size.

I am 5'1 and about 123lbs (36-29-36). I ordered a medium but should have gone with a Large. It is somewhat stretchy but it's more figure fitting. The material is a knit but it's kinda itchy and scratchy. I can deal with it because it's cute, but if you're sensitive do not buy this sweater.
