An enchanting and demure new 1930s style blouse called 'Harlow' in homage to hollywood star and 1930s style icon - Jean Harlow.

This is certainly a genius piece of pattern cutting. A soft cowl neckline with bias cut body - note the clever panels in the bodice to create this fantastic silhouette. The long bishop sleeves are also very clever - not too wide on the arm but there is an extra panel at the bottom to create the blouson effect at the wrist and is closed with poppers. (no fiddly buttons!)

Initially based and adapted from an original 1930s dress which was cut into a blouse alongside plenty of research on blouses circa 1933 - 1935. We've come up with an elegant, flattering but also darn sexy blouse that drapes in all the right places.

Wear over or tuck in - choice is yours!

No zip - due to bias cut - pull over head.

Key 1930s features include:-

- cowl neckline
- long bishop sleeves with poppers at wrist
- bias cut bodice
- neck darts

Fabric: 100% Rayon Viscose
Washing instructions: cool hand wash or dry clean MUST dry flat due to bias panels.

Beautifully designed blouse which works particularly well with all wide legged trousers and my personal .favourite, the flutter skirt. Makes for a very classy look indeed - although HofF has named this style after Jean Harlow, the cowl neck blouse is also worn by Phryne Fisher in many of the early episodes and who can fail to be inspired by her costumes!
